When you book your session, we will schedule a consultation where we will discuss clothing and other important aspects of your photo session. Newborns photograph best before they are two weeks old, Since your baby's birthday is usually unknown, we will reserve a block of time for you, and you can call after the birth and book the exact date and time for the session. You can book online by filling out the form or by calling or emailing us. We will get back with you on times we have available. The package price along with a signed contract will reserve your session.
It is important to me to build a relationship with my clients, and to take time to create an environment where beautiful images will unfold. So I take a lot of time and thought doing this before the session. I only take on a certain amount of clients a month, so I can have time to dedicate to each individual.
Your proofs wil be ready within two weeks after the photoshoot. On the day of your planning session, we will schedule a personal viewing of your photographs. After the viewing session, you will receive an email with a password to your online gallery and also a contact sheet with your image proofs in pdf format.
I use Nikon D700's and a variety of pro lenses such as the 105 2.8 and 50 1.8, and 24-70 2.8, and the SB900 flash. I prefer to use natural light, but have Elinchrom lighting equipment if necessary.
